The BEST unilateral movement for the back, nothing hits the lats as good as these, no you cant use the weight of the barbell but you DO get the range of motion that you cant with a Barbell
1 the stretch, almost touching the floor
2 the minor hip thrust bringing the origin to the insertion
3 the elbow wrapping around the back
4 the supination on concentric phase
